"How might we create a compelling and user-centric shopping website that aligns seamlessly with the brand identity and effectively communicates the range of services offered?"

Goal

Design a captivating and user-centric shopping website that aligns with the brand identity, effectively communicates the range of services, and enhances user satisfaction and conversion rates.

Research

Competitive Analysis

I researched three influential retail platforms: MoMA Design Store, Etsy, and Urban Outfitters, all of which directly and indirectly sell products similar to those offered by the Novi box. Through this process, I Identify the advantages and disadvantages of these products and assess where NOVI Box stands in the market.

Creating this user journey map helps us understand how first-time users like Mark interact with our e-commerce website. It allows us to identify pain points and improve the user experience by going through our whole website flow, leading to greater satisfaction and higher conversions.

Branding

Novibox needed a new branding to communicate to our customers the idea of "Novi Box - Curating the World's Treasures for Your Discovery Journey". Through user research we voted on the favorite color plattes of our target audience. We chose Futura, a font that is both modern and easy to read.

Final Design - Home page

Prior to the redesign, the overall shopping process was marked by a lack of smoothness, cluttered and inconsistent visual design, and a lack of memorable elements, all of which contributed to a subpar shopping experience for users.

Before

The homepage now boasts a more cohesive brand identity, well-defined sections, expanded categories, and an array of comprehensive features.

These enhancements collectively work to create a more favorable initial impression for users visiting our site.
